The Future Mobile Work Machine (FMWM) 2025 event in Tampere, Finland, united nearly 300 global participants under the theme "Data as a Driver of New Value." Emphasizing the practical side of AI, CEO Teemu Heikkilä and CCO Lotta Koponen delivered a featured keynote on the challenges and lessons of moving AI from development to production. The high turnout and expert discussions underscored the industry's strong determination to innovate with advanced data and AI technologies.

During Technology EXPO, we provided a live demonstration of physical AI systems, showcasing real-time human detection and tracking using LiDAR data, combined with a large language model for natural language data querying. By tracking one of nature’s most complex objects, the system demonstrated a simple but powerful truth: if we can track this, we can track anything. Whether it’s stockpiles, tools, terrain, or other machines, the same principles apply.

The demo also showcased a key principle behind our work: industrial systems are complex, multilayered environments where sensors, PLCs, ECUs, and networks must seamlessly interact. Treating them as mere backdrops for AI is a critical mistake. Success in physical AI requires deep integration and understanding of the full technology stack.
